Frankophiles’ Favorite Brands: Zuri

Posted March 16, 2017 by Nora Handsher

Zuri has all the qualities that make us swoon: a love for textiles and preserving traditional craft, creating products ethically and sustainably, and a focus on simplicity with high quality, versatile pieces.

Sandra Zhao and Ashleigh Miller created Zuri to change the way women think about their wardrobes, creating one iconic silhouette in their line in a variety of prints. Their signature piece can be worn as a dress, shirt, jacket, or skirt, simplifying the agonizing process of deciding what to wear (goodbye giant piles of clothes that appear in a panicked frenzy!). But it doesn’t end there. Their collection is made from kitenge and ankara textiles from Africa, and are sewn by an ethical workshop in Nairobi.

We are excited to have the Zuri team in our stores for an exclusive Trunk Show event next week. Come by and meet the Sandra and Ashleigh, and shop their collection, not otherwise available in the States.
