Frankophiles’ Favorite Brands: Mi Golondrina

Posted March 22, 2016 by Christina Bryant

We go weak at the knees for all things Latin. Little excites us more than the rich culture south of the border – viva México! One of our original St. Frank pieces was our Otomí embroidery, which led us to Cristina Lynch, founder of Mi Golondrina. We soon fell in love with this young brand’s beautiful nightgowns, blouses, and bedding. St. Frank and Mi Golondrina share a passion for Mexico’s traditions and a dedication to work with craftsman in time-honored techniques. Cristina is a Texan with Mexican heritage. The luxurious pieces in her collection are handmade by women in small Mexican villages whose creations shine in the detail and quality of their handwork. We’re huge fans and pack her dresses on our travels for the perfect nightgown-turned-coverup. Her sweet children’s apparel is also to-die-for and makes a very special gift. We are excited to host her for a trunk show next Wednesday, March 30th, from 4 – 8 PM at our flagship store in San Francisco, 3665 Sacramento Street. Come sip wine, shop the line, and meet Cristina and co-host Sally Miller Walker from A Piece of Toast.
